We are updating and adding to the “Work Place” section of the Understanding Dwarfism website. This section highlights the many different occupations and educational accomplishments held by people with dwarfism. This allows the world to see the many ways that we make positive contributions to society. It also inspires the younger LP generation by showing them the many options available in the work place. We are looking for different occupations form people all around the world.

Educating the world one person at a time

Understanding Dwarfism is a program dedicated to changing the world’s perception of a group of people who throughout history have been miss understood and stigmatized because of their profound short stature.

Our hopes are that through education, understanding and awareness people will begin to see persons with dwarfism for their positive contributions to society - equally capable and deserving of a life free of stereotypes and equal to that of any other.

Get a unique perspective of how people with dwarfism see the world and what they want you to know. Understand their challenges, their contributions, and find out how much you really have in common with someone you might think is much different than you.
